I’m still sorting out if I would have liked it having never read the graphic novel. I might have loved it even more as a movie if my first impression of it was formed in the theater, only just awash in the MASSIVE and BRIGHT glow that is IMAX. But no, all I can do is compare it with what I remember from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s context-shifting original work.

I liked it a lot, and I’ll love the uncut BluRay version even more!
